This is one of my favorite shots of this costume. I'm Talim from Soul Calibur II (VG), one costume I'm still quite proud of. However, it is somewhat retired due to the fact that some of it is in pieces. Redoing parts to make it fit better, especially since now I have a few more sewing skills learned... hah!
The tonfas are actually weighted, which I like. My dad and I made them, using plywood as a base and molding/sanding Bondo on them to give more shape. The handles are from an old pair of cutting shears. My mom painted the detailed designs.
The hair pieces were made from napkin holders, foamie, and paperclay. Inverted spikey hair rollers were used to keep the hair pieced attached to the wig.
The wig was styled by Megumibish. The necklance was made by Kyandi.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
